June 30, 2007"Papercut" Part 9: It seems I do more harm then good“Papercut” Part 9: It seems I do more harm then good So take take everything and leave me scrambling **************************************** Patrick was trying hard to work on Katy’s music without thinking about Katy herself, but the task was proving nearly impossible. He pulled his headphones off and unplugged them, letting the hook he made just fill the room, trying to feel inspired, trying to forget about his new and sudden life troubles. He turned around towards the door when something on the floor caught his attention. They looked like sheets of paper, so he stood and walked to pick them up. He flipped them over and saw words listed, six pages long: Dirty Slutty Trashy Liar… And the list went on. Patrick felt deeply disturbed reading this list, wondering who put them there. He shut off his equipment and opened the door, heading downstairs just in time to see Destiny walk through the back door. “Hey, where’ve you been?” Patrick asked. Destiny tried hard to fight her skin from turning bright red, she didn’t want him getting suspicious of anything. “Um, I went to shop and I couldn’t find anything I liked. I just needed to get out of the house,” she replied, scooting past him heading for the stairs. “You should know our daughter didn’t take the bus home today and only came home a little over an hour ago. Connor doesn’t know where she was and she looks sick,” Patrick added. Destiny stopped and looked at him, she had been growing increasingly suspicious of Morgan’s behavior. She’d been turning into herself and staying quiet. She was talking less gossip about kids in her school and she was rarely on the phone or internet anymore. “Something is going on with that girl, Patrick. She’s worrying me,” Destiny replied honestly, sitting her bag on the counter. “You really want to get freaked?” he asked, holding out the stack of papers. Destiny looked at Patrick funny and took the sheets from him, her eyes widening as she scanned the words on them. She sat them on the counter and turned to run up the stairs, seeing Connor typing away contently at an Instant Messenger screen, so that only left one other child to be worried about. “Destiny, don’t!” Patrick yelled. She stopped and turned to him, “If something is going on with her, you aren’t going to be able to get it out of her. Let me see what I can do,” he said. Destiny absolutely loathed the fact that Patrick had a relationship with her daughter that she was never going to achieve, she wanted Morgan to be able to cry on her, she wanted them have girl talks and she wanted to be her friend, but Morgan would never let Destiny into her world. Patrick gave Destiny a deep kiss, holding her to him for a minute, feeling small comfort in her arms before he backed away and heading up the stairs. Destiny felt ill, spending even a minute in Patrick’s arm like that made her want to scream out in guilt, she didn’t deserve him, she never had… Patrick knocked on Morgan’s bedroom door softly. He waited a moment but she didn’t answer, so he gently turned the handle and let himself in, all he saw was Morgan face down on her pillow, her chest gently rising and falling with her breath. He walked around her bed, shaking his head at her dirty laundry leading a trail to her bathroom. He picked them up and stopped short at the bloody panties on her bathroom floor. He looked to see if she had her period, evidence of which could be found in the trashcan most times, but he didn’t see any discarded pads. The sight of them alarmed him more then he would’ve liked, now knowing that it was something out of the ordinary. It was almost as if she was leaving him clues to try and figure out the state she was currently in. Patrick tossed the clothes into her laundry basket before sitting down in her desk chair, watching her sleep. "You really do need a nap, cranky pants," he said as he leaned down and pick Morgan up out of her crib, carrying her with him over to the chair in the corner. He took the binky out of her hand and put it back in her mouth as she continued to wail before he started humming softly. Morgan quieted substantially; it seemed she could never be loud when Patrick was singing to her. Only a few minutes later he was halfway through his song when Morgan had finally passed out on his shoulder, humming softly herself. Morgan stirred slightly, letting her eyes squint open, she felt someone looking at her and turned over to her back, smiling slightly when she saw Patrick sitting there. It calmed her down to see him near by, at least he cared about her, when she realized no one else would. She sat up and pulled her knees to her chin. “Hi, Daddy,” she said softly. Patrick didn’t smile back or give her any indication that he was feeling particularly warm to her right now. “What is this?” Patrick said sternly, holding the papers in his hand in the air. Morgan’s smile faded and she shrugged, she felt a little foolish at her lashing out actions like the papers and her clothes strewn across her floor, which she noticed where now placed in her laundry. “Don’t shrug at me Morgan! What’s going on with you?” Patrick said, his voice raising slightly. Morgan felt her throat tighten again, she was upsetting him still and it was still making her more upset. Patrick sat and stared at his daughter as he watched her recess into her own brain. He was so worried about her behavior lately, he wanted her to just spill so he could ground her until she was 30 and he wouldn’t have to worry about things she was doing when he wasn’t able to see her. “Baby, please. Whatever it is, you know you can talk to me about it. I just want to help you, I’m not going to get upset, okay?” he said, and he was as good as his word. If Morgan was beginning her foray into the world of sex and boys, he wanted her to be able to be honest about it, at least that why he would know that she was being safe and responsible if it was her choice to become active. “Okay…” she said softly. Patrick was surprised to hear her comply already, he was expecting to need more time to sit and watch her. “There is this…boy, and I really, really like him a lot. But I’m worried no one else is going to accept us being together, I mean, I know that no one is going to except us and I’m just…Daddy, I’ve been lying to you and I’m sorry! I was with him this afternoon. I don’t like lying to you! I don’t like the way I feel right now,” she said, tears leaking from her eyes. Patrick looked at her in awe, he felt lucky to be able to have a relationship with his daughter where she felt comfortable telling him anything, but he sort of wished now that she didn’t trust him so much, he almost didn’t want to know. “Okay…who’s this boy?” Morgan shook her head. “I don’t…I can’t tell you that,” she replied laying back down on her bed. Patrick began thinking in his brain any of the male friends Morgan had and the few he could think of, he was certain it wasn’t any of them. “Well, whenever you feel like telling me, you just come get me okay, and we’ll figure out what to do to make you more comfortable, okay? In the mean time, I’m going to be picking you up from school,” Patrick replied standing. Morgan shot up in her bed. “Daddy, no! I promise I’ll be home after school, please don’t,” she replied. Patrick eyed Morgan suspiciously, something was definitely wrong with the way she was acting. “This isn’t a discussion, Mo. I’m picking you up after school. Come down stairs for dinner,” he said, leaving the room. Morgan panicked. How was it going to be possible now to see Joe away from her house? There had to be some other way, she knew whatever happened in the afternoon he didn’t do on purpose, there was no way. She leaned over and grabbed her phone off the nightstand, pressing speed dial. “Hello?” She smiled hearing Joe’s voice. “Hey, I’m sorry I didn’t call you earlier,” she said. “It’s okay, I figured you had to talk to whoever saw you come home.” “Yeah, oddly enough it was my Dad. I don’t even know where Mom is, or if she came home yet.” “Weird. Well, I’m glad you’re home, am I still picking you up tomorrow?” “No, I kind of freaked out a little when I got home over what happened, Daddy is picking me up from school for a while, he thinks it’s a boy in my class,” she replied. “Oh,” Joe’s tone was a little guarded. He wasn’t sure why Morgan would’ve freaked out, and of all things, why did she freak out to Patrick? “Um, we we’ll figure out something, I love you, we’ll talk later.” “Okay, I love you too,” she replied, then hung up the phone. She felt a little better, hearing how normal Joe sounded, so she decided to head down for some dinner… Patrick left his bedroom, walking past Morgan’s room on the way to the stairs. He noticed her phone blinking on her nightstand and went over to get to give it to her. Curious, he glanced at the message when the name struck him as odd, it was Joe’s name. Curiosity took over and Patrick pressed read now: ‘I hope you’re okay, that I didn’t scare you. I love you, have sweet dreams’ He stared at the phone in complete awe, he was hoping this wasn’t what he was thinking it was. Then suddenly things started to add up; Morgan wouldn’t tell him the guy’s name, she was worried about what people would think, the blood on her panties, the six page list…Patrick was far from a violent person, but he going to fucking kill Joseph Trohman… **************************************** Tell me I'm wrong when I say

"Papercut" Part Eight: A Warning Sign“Papercut” Part Eight: A Warning Sign I've got to tell you what a state I'm in, ******************************************** Tiptoeing around the house, Morgan made sure that she wasn’t going to be seen by her parents, it was nearly dinner time and she had just gotten home, Destiny would’ve strangled her if she knew where she was unsupervised. Morgan had devised a plan in her head of how she was going to get away with her absence today, but she would have to think of something else next time. She continued her way around the side of her house to her backyard, quietly opening the door to her house and shutting it. “Morgan!?” She heard as soon as the door shut. “Shit,” she muttered under her breath. She walked around the corner and almost smacked right into her father. “Mo, where the hell have you been? You’re brother said you never got on the bus and I’ve been worried sick!” he yelled at her. Morgan instantly felt tears jump to her eyes, it hurt her a lot to disappoint Patrick. It was one thing when Destiny was mad at her, in fact, it was just another day in the life, but when Patrick was mad it was something else to her. “Daddy, it’s okay,” she replied, composing herself, “I got a ride home and I’ve been at the gazebo reading some homework. I’m sorry to worry you,” she lied. She swallowed hard, she never lied to her Dad. Patrick looked at her for a minute, he wasn’t buying that story at all, what did she take him for? But she looked like she was having a rough day, so he let her off the hook just this once. “It’s okay, baby, just…call next time, I don’t want to have to worry about you.” He looked at her for another minute, trying to figure out what was going on in her brain, “…do you need to talk to me about anything? You look sick,” he added. Morgan turned her attention to her toes, wiggling them, trying to force herself to look and feel normal, she didn’t like that Patrick was able to see right through her, it was upsetting her more than she thought possible. She wasn’t going to be able to keep this a secret from him, she didn’t think Joe was going to be able to keep it under wraps either, there was too much at stake, too much trust between the three of them for this to go on. “Daddy…I…,” she sighed and shook her head, “no, nothing’s wrong, I just have a lot of homework and I feel like I have no time to do it, I’m a little distracted with other things right now.” “If you ever need to talk about what’s on your mind, come get me, okay?” Morgan nodded as Patrick gave her a hug. It was hard knowing your child was in pain, and Patrick could see in Morgan’s eyes that she was hurting a lot. He didn’t know how to approach a fifteen year old girl when it came to matters of her mind, or her heart, given he was never a girl and he was fifteen a long time ago. He also didn’t want to her problems to seem miniscule that he wont know how to react in a compassionate way, possibly making her feel worse. Raising a teenager was starting to become a task he couldn’t handle, he was dreading the next two years when Connor started high school, getting in more trouble fighting and starting to bring home girls, the thought was almost too much to handle. It was even harder, because he knew one of these days he was going to have to give his kids advice that made him into a total hypocrite. It was bad enough Patrick was even home to see his children arrive from school. After Katy had gone back into the recording booth, he hadn’t been able to concentrate on her, or on his job. He was too busy wondering how he had just let himself cheat on Destiny for the first time in all of their years of marriage. He promised himself that after the pain she made him feel when she had cheated with Andy, he was never going to let another individual go through that, even Destiny, who might’ve deserved a taste of her own medicine. Patrick felt guilt that was the heaviest kind of feeling in his body, he didn’t know what to do with himself, he didn’t know how he was planning on facing Destiny after today, he was glad she wasn’t home when he arrived. “Connor…where’s your mother?” Connor shrugged at Patrick, a gesture he was all to used to from his son. “She didn’t mention anything to anyone?” Patrick found it hard to believe Destiny would just go somewhere without telling anyone. Connor sighed, annoyed. “I said I don’t know!” he replied. Patrick stared at his stranger of a son, bewildered by the tone of his voice. “Try talking to me with less attitude next time,” Patrick said, before walking towards the stairs. Connor looked up from his homework and started amazed at his dad before flipping him off behind his back… Destiny didn’t know what she was doing. She found herself leaving her house mid-afternoon to go have a rough fuck with her old friend Pete…a sexless marriage will often times leave you feeling like you have no other options. She wasn’t sure which was worse at this point either, cheating on her husband or cheating on her husband with his former best friend. Either way, Destiny’s heart was in a bind. Pete came out of the bathroom and laid down beside Destiny, throwing his arm around her shoulder. He seemed to have no remorse about the whole situation, or if he did, he was good at hiding it. Destiny sort of felt like a demon, she was a total liar and Patrick had never done anything in their fourteen years of marriage for him to deserve her sneaking around like this, but she was a woman and she had needs, it probably wasn’t the best idea to satisfy those needs by sleeping with his former friend, but she couldn’t figure out any different solution. “So, when do you think you want to head home?” Pete finally asked, rolling over and planting a few kisses across her neck. Destiny squirmed under his lips, pulling the blankets up higher, trying to put her feet on the floor. “I should probably get home now. The kids are already home from school and Patrick will probably be home soon. I’m sorry to run like this,” she said, although she didn’t really feel very sorry. Pete let his embrace go, watching her stand up and toss her clothes on quickly. “Can I see you again soon?” Pete wondered, standing up and walking to her. Destiny tried to think of an excuse. It wasn’t that she didn’t enjoy the sex, because the sex was amazing, fun and exciting, but the event was still so new, this was only the second time she agreed to come over, and she wasn’t sure if she should continue, it wasn’t fair to Patrick or her children. “Um, I don’t know, I’ll call you when I figure out my schedule,” she said. Pete nodded and followed her out to the front door. “I had a great time again,” Pete said as she opened the door. Destiny stopped and turned to look at him, smiling. “I did, too,” she said honestly. She really did enjoy Pete’s company and she missed him being around a lot. Pete leaned in and gently pressed his lips to hers, he was glad Destiny came to him when she needed something her husband couldn’t give her, it made him feel good to know that even after all of these years, she still relied on him when she was in need. Destiny smiled before turning around and fleeing to her car… Morgan slammed her door shut and threw her backpack on the floor, flinging herself face first onto her bed. She grabbed her teddy bear and pulled it to her, letting herself finally cry. She was feeling so many things and none of them were positive. She often wondered what it felt like to have something on your mind, so much so that you can’t function or think of anything else, but now that she was in this state, she was wishing it wasn’t happening to her. She could feel a damp spot in the crotch of her panties, she could still feel the sensation of Joe’s mouth on her and she was seeing the look in Patrick’s eyes. She turned her head and buried her face in her pillow, feeling the wetness of her tears all over the fabric. Why did she feel this way? She didn’t have sex with Joe, but something about the whole event was making her feel strange, and it was a feeling she wasn’t welcoming, she wanted to do away with it, she wanted to go back and tell him to stop, she wasn’t ready. She couldn’t believe she got so caught up in the moment that she forgot how to listen to her own head. She sat up and wiped at her damp face, grabbing a fresh pair of panties from her drawer and walking to the bathroom, turning on the shower. She began taking her clothes off, starting with her shirt and jeans. She walked over to the toilet and sat down to pee, pulling off her panties. As she pulled them down she felt all of the color drain from her face; there was a large blood stain in the middle of them and she knew it wasn’t her period, it was far off from being that time. Immediately a fresh batch of tears sprang to her eyes, had Joe hurt her? She knew she felt pain, but she didn’t think he had made her bleed! She was more upset now, knowing that Joe did this to her and he didn’t say anything to her about it. She tossed off her panties and ran to the steaming shower, falling to a heap on the shower floor. She just sat there and let the water wash over her, it was too hot but she didn’t care. She felt gross and used and betrayed by Joe. She didn’t even think she could face him anymore and now she felt like she couldn’t trust him, she wanted to be able to give him all of her, everything she had, but now she wasn’t as sure as had been about losing her virginity. If she bled merely from what happened to her this afternoon, what would happen when she actually attempted sex? Morgan stood slowly on her shaking legs, washing every inch of her body thoroughly. It was strange feeling she couldn’t shake, she wondered how anybody was able to live like this, how anyone was able to just let boys touch them and act like sluts. That’s ultimately what she felt like as well, just a slut. Someone who just let guys do what they wanted to her and she would just lay there and take it. She shut off the water and wrapped her favorite towel around herself, walking to the mirror and combing out her wet hair. She put her clean panties on and then walked to her bedroom, throwing on her most comfortable pants and shirt, crawling in her bed with her laptop. She sat a stared at a blank word document before just typing words that she felt at the moment: Dirty Slutty Trashy Liar Gross Disgusting Used User Bad Impure Embarrassed Broken Worn She just kept adding words to that effect until she reached six pages of listed words. She sighed as she reread them all, hitting print. She listened as each page came off the printer. Slowly she stood and walked the papers, picking them up and leaving her room. She walked calmly to the room Patrick used for his studio and leaned on the door, making sure he was in there working. She heard a light bass thump come from behind the door and bent down, shoving each paper under the door. Once she was done she retreated back to her room, and laid down, throwing the covers over her head… ******************************************** I missed the good part then I realized,

June 27, 2007"Need" Part 13- Less is more, except when it comes to mistakesAN: Eh, I kind of really hate this chapter a lot. “Need” Part 13- Less is more, except when it comes to mistakes We're turning our clocks back ********************************* Pete got home and immediately retreated into himself, going to his office to sit and think, while Kayli took a seat on the couch, feeling like things weren’t working out as well as she had hoped. She had hoped that in the revelation of their happy news, Pete would have been ecstatic about telling everyone he was going to be a father, she thought he would be calling his parents to tell them “oh by the way…”, she could have a baby shower at the end of the fall tour and everyone would be happy. She was never glad to see Pete go away, even if it was to the next room and back, but she thought maybe the time apart would be good for them, maybe he’d miss her enough that he would be able to face the world a little differently. For a relationship, especially a new one, its never good to hope on someone changing, and Kayli knew that, but she also knew that the feelings she had for Pete were a once in a lifetime kind she would fight to hold onto if necessary, but she was tired of him pulling away when things weren’t working out in his mind, she wanted him to be able to confide in her, especially when the situation included her. Annoyed, Kayli reached down and rubbed her belly, thinking about how each month she would keep getting larger and larger, soon she would be a mom and she would finally have the family she had always dreamed of having. She heard footsteps coming back up the stairs, but kept her seat, Hemmingway running over to check on her before taking his place on his couch for a nap. Hemmingway seemed to have changed lately, he wasn’t his usually air headed self when both Kayli and Pete were in the same room now, he kept looking at Kayli curiously, as though he knew something were different about her and he kept a close eye on the way Pete had changed his mannerisms around Kayli. He was touching her a little more softly, talking to her a little more gently and holding her a lot closer. Pete had always been protective of Kayli, even since their first night together. He would always watch her, his own paranoid behaviors of past relationships and regrets rubbing off on this new relationship that he knew to be different. It had to be different, he had done the irreversible, the wrist-tying, end of the line, till death do us part bond. The whole time the only thing he was most concerned about was the backlash, the response to his choice, after all he just wanted to protect Kayli, to protect his now growing family, was he so wrong? The minute he was told for sure that Kayli was pregnant, he felt the world sort of flip over on its axis. The life he once knew, the future he once envisioned, now had to be completely rethought and completely changed. He had to be thinking about a baby now; child proofing his house, car seats, changing tables, baby formulas, diapers and all kinds of things that were complete Greek to him. He wasn’t sure he was ready, at the age of twenty eight, to be a father. Some people were born for it, like Patrick, and it was an innate knack for fathering, for the ability to want to be there for someone else like a child. Pete didn’t know if he had that in him right now. He knew that he had it in him for some day, sometime in the future, but right now? Maybe this was all happening to quickly… “Did you finally calm down a little?” Kayli asked Pete as he walked to the kitchen. Pete felt himself tense up at her patronizing, but decided it best to let it slide off his back. “Yeah, thanks…” he said, staring into his bone bare refrigerator. He shut it, realizing that nothing was going to magically appear inside and walked around to see Kayli sitting on the chair Hemmingway had thoroughly destroyed, with her eyes closed, her breath even, hands clamped across her tummy. Pete felt like taking a picture, this is how he wanted to remember Kayli forever, content and happy. He reveled in the chills she gave him, in the grin he felt was now forever plastered to his face. Happiness, he had found, was in another’s soul, an answer he had been searching for so long, a puzzle finally complete. He walked to her, sitting down on the floor at her feet, resting his head on her thigh. He watched her chest rise and fall and felt a tingle go up his back when she began gently running her fingers across the back of his head. Reaching up to smooth her hair down, Pete felt himself sigh, although he wasn’t sure if it was out of contentment, frustration or confusion. “Just let it out, honey,” Kayli said softly. He lifted his head, looking over at Hemmingway, who had his eyes open, carefully watching the couple. “Are we really ready for this, Kayli?” he began, turning his attention to her, “A baby? We’ve barely gotten a chance to be married, you don’t even live with me. I’m sure the rumors have already gotten out of hand, I just don’t know how to deal with all of this.” Kayli sat up straight and Hemmingway jumped off his couch, sliding over to her. “That’s what our life is about now, Pete. I don’t know how to deal with it either, but we can do it together, I promise, everything is going to be okay. Maybe not now, maybe not any time in the immediate future, but we are definitely going to be okay,” she said, suddenly realizing that maybe she wasn’t so sure. Her last statement was sort of a reassurance to herself. She had only known Pete for eight months, they had only been married for two weeks. “…oh my god, I’m going to have a baby. Pete, our life is going to change forever.” Pete felt himself get white at Kayli’s sudden revelation, now she wasn’t even sure. “We can’t do this. It’s too soon,” Pete said standing up. Hemmingway jumped in alarm, the movement startled him out of a small nap. Kayli stood too, following behind Pete as he paced to his bedroom. “What do you mean we can’t? Why can’t we? Yeah, it will be challenge, but we can do this. What do you propose we do instead?” “I don’t know! I mean, we can’t get rid of it….can we?” “No!” Kayli yelled immediately. She huffed loudly, pissed it was even a thought. “Peter, I want this baby. I really do…it just suddenly hit me, you know? All of the planning that needs to happen, the preparation…are you not going to help me?” Pete turned around and stared at her. She looked so desperate, standing there with her face flushed, he could tell he really startled her. “Of course I’m going to help you, I just…I’m still a kid, yeah I’m 28, but I’m still a kid. I don’t know if I can do this, I’ve never given a family like this too much thought, I’ve been too busy worrying about myself to even consider the possibility of having to worry about another life that’s absolutely going to depend on me to survive,” Pete said. He sat on his bed, looking out the sliding glass door to his backyard, imagining it with a jungle gym, swing sets and toys strewn all over the place. His spare bedroom would have to become the baby’s room, and he was going to have to sacrifice all kinds of things he just didn’t feel prepared to give up yet. Then it hit him: Pete Wentz was going to have to grow up… Dear World, I’m writing this tell you all, in plain words, the rumors you have been hearing are true. So let me tell you all the straight truth: I, Peter Wentz, have been married for three weeks. My wife is three months pregnant and we are expecting a child sometime in the month of February. We felt in the beginning that this was the best decision for us, to be able to learn about each other without so much as a tainted view from various news sources, biased opinions and rumor mills. I wanted to be able to tell you all this news myself, when the timing was correct and unfortunately, the news came when I wasn’t prepared. I do not regret our decision to keep our marriage a secret, my only regret is that it didn’t stay a secret longer. I was hoping to be able to enjoy my new found stability without everyone watching our every move, but I’m sure, as well as I hope I know my fans, you guys will give us the amount of privacy that we need. I know a lot of you are going to blame me or my wife for my lack of honesty, but I feel that as this is my life, I am forced to make all of my own decisions and to do what is best for me and my growing family. I will apologize for anyone who feels betrayed or isolated by my decision to keep this personal matter entirely personal, but as someone in the eye of the public, it is also my job to understand how each thing I do effects my fans and the people around me. I hope you all will continue to support me, my endeavors and Fall Out Boy. My fans mean the world to me and I would be absolutely nothing without you guys, don’t fail me now. Pete. ******************************** Excuses are better

June 24, 2007"Papercut" Part Seven - This is the death of beautyAN: This chapter got throughly out of hand... *********************** “Papercut” Part Seven: This is the death of beauty We lied, we can't go on ******************************************* Katy watched Patrick curiously as she munched on a sandwich, he was concentrating a little too hard on the project at hand for her to buy that he was actually interested in what he was doing. She moved her chair closer to him, trying to peek over his shoulder at what he was looking at on his laptop. Patrick felt something behind him and turned to see Katy’s pretty eyes peering back at him. “Can I help you?” he asked, sounding meaner than intentional. Katy shrugged and walked around him to the board his laptop was sitting on. She carefully made sure she wasn’t going to sit on anything important and gently placed herself aside of him on the mixing board. Patrick gulped as he noticed the short length of Katy’s denim skirt. She sat down, pulling her legs open only slightly, watching him try to fight himself to take a peek. “I was just wondering why you always look so serious,” she said, placing her hands on either side of her, leaning back. Patrick cleared his throat and looked away from her, back to the computer screen. He could see her shifting out of the corner of his eye, causing him to feel slightly aroused at the ideas once again flowing through his mind. "I can be fun." “Do you want to prove that?” she asked, her voice low. Patrick reached forward and shut his laptop, now way to distracted to even pretend to be doing work. “Katy, this isn’t appropriate,” he said, trying to find his voice of reason. “Oh please, like that’s what you’re worried about. You say you aren’t boring, I just want you to prove it to me. My sister says you were the boring on in Fall Out Boy too, always staying home while Pete was out being young and living his life, come on, Patrick. There must be something else beneath that all work and no play exterior.” Patrick was trying so hard to fight these advances because there was so much wrong with this situation. He had a wife to be faithful to and an employee relationship to hold up, but somehow none of this was factoring into his mind at the moment. Katy’s toned thighs were a perfect golden shade and he panties were so sheer, she might as well have just not worn any. He stood suddenly, totally aware that the arousal in his jeans was going to be completely noticeable. She stood quickly as she saw him rise, standing face to face with him for the very first time. It was only now she noticed a small smattering of grey in his blue eyes and it was only now she noticed how alone he looked. With a feeling of more compassion then dominance, Katy leaned forward and placed her lips delicately on Patrick’s, smiling at their softness. Patrick was taken back for a moment, his mind in overdrive, he couldn’t quite decide whether or not this was a good idea, but he wasn’t given much time to think, Katy had wrapped her thin arms around his neck, their kiss deepened. She reached down and placed his hand gently beneath her skirt, she was dying to be touched. Patrick had become someone else by this point, his mind was no longer his, it was no longer a married man, or a father of two, it was someone new, someone he was longing to be. He let his fingers approach the damp spot between her legs, gently tugging aside her panties, finding her most intimate, pleasurable spot. Katy sucked in her breath and rolled her head back, Patrick’s kisses landing on her neck. He continued to caress her gently, her breath becoming more ragged by the moment, she felt herself begin to whimper, Patrick’s fingers were so gentle, Katy almost felt bad for taking this situation this far, but before she had much of a chance to think about it, an orgasm fell on her hard, she searched for Patrick’s lips, their tongues entwining as Katy fought hard to remember where she was and who she was with, their senses quickly coming back. Patrick was the first to yank away, he took his hand away from her body and pushed himself away. Katy shyly pushed her legs together, standing up and straightening her skirt. “Patrick…” she said softly. He just shook his head in response, causing Katy to move back into the booth, her eyes welling up into foolish tears… Morgan jumped as the final school bell rang, she hadn’t been paying any attention lately, she wasn’t worried about school, or her chores or her friends. She was just worried about seeing Joe and spending time with him. She felt like just another grown up when she was with him, he made her feel constantly beautiful and it was the only feeling she was after anymore. She quickly grabbed her backpack and headed outside, making the walk two blocks away from school, she spotted Joe’s car and smiled, her footsteps moving quicker. She hopped in and Joe peeled off quickly, always picking her up from school was nerve wrecking to him, there was bound to be cameras, teachers, someone watching them at all times. Once they were far enough away for Joe’s comfort, he stopped at a red light and leaned over, kissing Morgan gently. She blushed immediately, she still was trying to get used to this strange feeling in her body. She felt hot and flustered and always had the urge to never let go of his kiss. “Someone asked me about my ring today,” she said suddenly. “Oh?” Joe raised his eyebrows. She nodded, twisting the band around her finger out of nervous habit. “I told her I bought it myself and she said ‘it’s a relationship ring’ and I told her I wasn’t aware of that, I just thought it was pretty.” Joe nodded, not sure how to respond to anything at the moment, his nerves were still in a tight ball from picking her up. Once inside his house, he relaxed, fairly certain that at least no one could see him from in there. Morgan felt completely at home in Joe’s house now, loving being able to just be while they were together, without any pressure from her overbearing mother, he annoying little brother or her smothering father. As Joe watched Morgan stretch out on his couch, he just wanted to kiss her and hold her until he couldn’t anymore. He approached the couch and sat down beside her, putting his arm around her shoulders, pulling her head to his, kissing her deeply. She sighed, this is the only thing she had been looking forward to all day, feeling Joe’s beard scratch at her smooth, soft skin, his tattooed arms sliding down and across her waist, pulling her small frame on top of his. She settled into his lap, for the first time feeling him pressing against his jeans, he almost seemed like he was begging her to please him again. Morgan pulled away from his embrace and moved to get onto her knees, but Joe stopped her. “No, it’s my turn now,” he replied to her softly. Morgan looked at him curiously, the sudden feelings rushing straight down her body. Joe stood and reached out for her hand, which she gave him gratefully, following him as he walked up the stairs. Joe led her to his bedroom, feeling his brain arguing with him over whether or not he should do this now, but he knew he was already in this, and he was doing what he brought her here to do. Morgan’s breath got caught somewhere between the couch and the bedroom in the stairwell and she wasn’t sure what was going to happen, but she knew that she was going to let it go on, she was ready as far as she was concerned, as long as it was with Joe. She sat down on his bed and watched him awkwardly as he leaned in over her body and kissed her, his hand on her shoulders gently instructing her to lay on her back. She took a deep breath and did as she was told. Joe placed himself above her, leaning down and kissing her neck softly over and over, sucking gently occasionally, smiling as he felt Morgan’s chest begin to heave beneath him, she was ready and he could tell. Morgan didn’t dare open her eyes, she sometime feared he was having a good laugh at her innocence, but when she felt his hands start to open her jeans, it was another fear entirely. Maybe she wasn’t ready, she had never even masturbated before, so she had never had an orgasm, maybe sex was a rough way to begin. “Joe, I…” she begin, sitting up. Joe looked up at her from his spot from between her legs on the floor. His eyes looked so kind, she wasn’t sure why so was so nervous, this was Joe…her Joe. He was going to take care of her. She blushed, feeling foolish and shook her head, letting him continue. Joe smiled and gently tugged her pants away. Morgan laid back down and took a few deep breaths, closing her eyes once more. Joe felt overwhelmed with her suddenly, she was almost too pristine to corrupt, he didn’t want to feel bad, but he almost couldn’t help it. Remembering that they were in a real relationship of sorts and forgetting about who she was as he usually did, he leaned forward and gently began kissing the inside of her thighs, first one, then the other, moving closer and closer to his goal. Morgan began to pant, this feeling was all to new, she didn’t know how to handle it. Joe looked up at Morgan to see her eyes squeezed tightly shut and smiled before reaching up and hooking his fingers around the band of her panties, gently tugging them down her thighs and off her feet. She felt exposed now, almost embarrassed that Joe was seeing her like this, so she snapped her legs shut and sat up on her elbows, looking at Joe sheepishly, but he just shook his head and gently placed his hands on her knees. “Don’t. You’re beautiful,” he said to her, his hands pulling her knees apart. Now curious and interested, Morgan kept her eyes open and watched as Joe slid a hand up her thigh and let one finger gently touch her. Morgan almost yelped, she had never felt anything like that before. Joe continued, letting his finger slide up and down her wetness, before stopping at her clit and gently rubbing. “Oh god,” she whispered, she didn’t know what to do with herself, where she should put her hands or where she should look. She just kept her gaze on Joe, knowing that he would let her know what the right move was. After playing with her for a minute, he leaned in and gently let his tongue flick over where his finger had been, causing her to almost jump completely off the bed. Joe’s touch was so gentle and it felt so good, she didn’t know how it was possible no one had told her about this before. Joe continued to lap at her, occasionally switching his fingers and tongue. “Joe, this feels so good,” she finally blurted out, before she began to moan softly. Feeling encouraged, he let his tongue and lips play with her while he moved his finger a little lower. Knowing she was a virgin, and knowing she had to be tight, Joe pushed very gently at Morgan’s opening, letting her tell him what was feeling best. She felt a sudden pain from where the pleasure had been, but took a deep breath, expecting the pain to subside quickly. Without any hesitation from her, Joe continued to move his finger inside of her and then quickly pushed it the whole way in. Morgan yelped unexpectedly, causing Joe to sit up and remove his finger immediately. “I’m sorry, did that hurt you?” he asked, as Morgan nodded at him, trying to hold back her tears when Joe looked and saw a thin stream of blood. He felt remorse suddenly, he had just popped an innocent fifteen year old girl’s cherry. “I don’t want you to stop,” she then said, he voice full of desperation, “Please,” she begged. Joe looked at her for a moment, before nodding and leaned forward, placing his lips around her swollen clit. Morgan sighed, feeling pleasure once again. She reached her hand down and ran her fingers through Joe’s hair, excited at the possibility of climax. He wanted Morgan to forget about the pain he had just made her feel, and kept his mouth over her, feeling her hips begin to grind his face. “Joe, I…oh god…” it was all she could muster, some strange sensation was falling on her, she felt it tingle all the way down her spine and finish with a strong sensation that caused her to toss her head back, her legs and fingers shaking uncontrollably. Joe let her down gently, pulling away from her and wiping his mouth. He helped her get her clothes back on, and then laid down beside her, where she immediately clung to his chest, breathing him in and hoping that the moment wasn’t going to end. “I should get you home,” he said. Morgan sat up and nodded, he was right. Reluctantly, she stood and clasped his hand, following him down the stairs and out of the house. “Morgan,” he said, before he opened his front door. She looked over at him and nodded, “I love you.’ She smiled and stood on her toes, pressing their lips together sadly… *********************************** The doves have died

"Need" Part 12- Everybody's talkingAN: Big BIG what ups to my home girls Pinky and Sarah, lovers you bitches! You guys are my favorite idea ping pong-ers. “Need” Part 12- Everybody’s talking But they don’t say a thing Look at me with sad eyes But I don’t want the sympathy **************************************** When Pete awoke the next day, he needed to be in a rehearsal space in an hour, but laying with Kayli just made him want to stay in bed all day. He loved hearing her lightly snore in her sleep, the heat of her body beside him soothing him, she was better than any pill or medication he could ever take. Kayli woke softly, reaching her hand up and placing it on the side of his face, bringing his lips to hers. This was all she imagined marriage would be, waking up to the man you love day in and day out, not a strong care in the world, but everything was so much more complicated for them. “I have to get going,” Pete said, standing up and stretching, Kayli nodded, rubbing her belly. Pete kissed her quickly and took a shower before bolting from the house, he was already late… “Wentz, why do you look so oddly euphoric today?” Charlie asked him when they were all taking a lunch break. “If I tell you, you have to promise that it will be between us only,” he said. Charlie nodded. “Oh, secrets? I want to know,” Dirty’s voice came from around the corner, he was followed by Joe and Andy. Pete sighed and rolled his eyes, he knew these were a few of the people he could trust. “Okay, but JUST you guys, no one else!” he said. The all nodded and sat down next near him, waiting. “So…Kayli and I have been dating since January,” he began. Dirty reached over and slapped Charlie on the arm. “Dude, I so fucking called that shit!” he said. Charlie laughed and nodded. “He did.” Pete laughed and then continued, “Um…well we got married in Vegas and now she’s three months pregnant. Guys, I’m going to be a dad,” he said, with a huge smile. “Holy shit! Congrats, dude! It’s the best feeling in the whole world,” Dirty said. Joe muttered a ’whoa’ and Andy let his jaw drop, while Charlie smiled but stayed on the offensive. “Is this really a good idea?” he asked. Pete shrugged. “Probably not, but come on. Me, a dad? Be happy for me!” Pete said, smacking Charlie. “I am bro, I am. I’m just also going to be worried for you, too…” The pre-Europe tour party kicked off in LA, and everyone who was anyone was there to say goodbye to the bands for a month. It was especially bittersweet for Kayli, knowing that Pete was going to miss her next trip to the doctor’s when she found out the sex of their baby but that he was out doing his job and that’s what mattered most. She kept watching Dirty, seeing how he was coping with his family being so far away all the time, but keeping up with his job at the same time, it was pretty admirable. Pete also had a DJ gig while they were at the club and Kayli sat alone, watching him from across the club, wishing so bad that she could just be up in the booth with him, dancing along and just being by his side. After a while, Kayli got bored of sitting alone and approached a table occupied by William Beckett, Carden and Patrick, among some other people. Kayli stared bewildered as Patrick was handed alcohol, surprised to see him drinking. “I deserve it once in a while, you know?” he said to her. Kayli nodded, silently wondering if this had to do with her and Pete. She turned her attention from him to William hearing him say, “I just think it’s unique that Pete is up there all by himself. It’s the first time I’ve seen him without a girlfriend or a crush in a long time,” William noted. Kayli felt her face flush, how embarrassing its going to be when people find out. “I wouldn’t be too worried about it,” Patrick interjected. Kayli sat her water down and stared at him, her look warning him not to continue. “What do you mean, dude,’ Carden asked. “Pete’s got somebody, he’s just too much of a baby to tell anyone about it,” he added, staring right back at Kayli. Carden and William shot each other looks of confusion before Kayli spoke up. “Why don’t you shut your mouth and keep drinking, Patrick?” she said. Patrick raised his glass to her and took a huge gulp before turning his attention elsewhere in the club. Patrick couldn’t take anymore of Pete’s mediocre DJ-ing, and the evil glares he was getting from Kayli after opening his mouth so he stood up, surprising himself by being pretty tipsy. He didn’t really drink that often, but when he did it only took a small amount to have him buzzed. He walked through the throngs of people, rolling his eyes at Gabe dancing on tables with half naked women and walked up to the DJ booth. Pete saw him approaching and waved him up. “Dude, can I play something?” he asked Pete over the music. Pete shrugged and handed Patrick the headphones. “Perfect!” Patrick yelled triumphantly. He turned down the song currently playing and made a small announcement, “I dedicate this one to Kayli Wentz, congrats on the baby!” he yelled, before “Goldigger” began blaring through the club. Pete spat his water out all over the table top and lunged at Patrick, quickly turning the song off and replacing it with something else. “Patrick! What the FUCK, man?!” Pete yelled, pinning him up against the wall. “What? You didn’t think it was going to come out sooner or later?” Pete was about to hit him when he glanced out over the club, seeing everyone in the place with their eyes on them. “Shit…thanks a lot, asshole,” Pete said before letting go of him and storming down the stairs. Kayli had never wanted to be invisible more in life than she did right now, she could feel hundreds of eyes boring holes into the back of her head. Pete pushed his way through tons of people still staring at him in disbelief. Gabe was the first one to catch his eye, he couldn’t believe Pete would keep something like this a secret from him. Pete felt horrible, looking at people he considered to be his closest friends now staring at him like they could never trust him again. Pete grabbed Kayli’s arm and pulled her along with him, away from everyone. Charlie stood up and chased after Pete out of the club, Dirty followed close behind “Pete! Don’t leave like this!” Charlie yelled to him as he shoved himself and Kayli out the door. “Why not?! Half the people in there hate my fucking guts right now, why would I stay?” Pete yelled back. “Because it’s your job to stay!” Charlie yelled back at him. Pete stopped short and pulled Kayli closer to him, like he was afraid someone was going to come out of the club, take her away from him and never give her back. “I just hurt more people than I can count, Charlie. I can’t face them right now.” “You didn’t plan on this to happen like this, I know you had a plan for the news to come out. Patrick made the mistake, and trust me he’s going to pay for it in more than one way tomorrow.” Kayli shifted in her stance, she felt to blame for the current situation, she never should have told Patrick and just listened to Pete about keeping the whole thing a secret. A minute later Gabe and William came out of the club to see Charlie trying to get Pete back into the club. Pete felt heavy, seeing his friends standing there knowing how betrayed they must’ve felt. Gabe walked forward to Pete and Kayli, pulling Pete aside. “Why did you think you couldn’t tell us?” Pete looked back at him with a serious look. “The more people I would’ve told, the more people would’ve found out and then it wouldn’t have been a secret anymore, which would’ve completely defeated the purpose.’ “And it was better then this? Than all of us finding out this way instead? It just sucks that you felt like you couldn’t trust any of us, your friends…” Pete stood and looked at them all, still holding Kayli’s hand. He wanted to go home, he needed to think. He turned around and pulled Kayli with him. Reluctantly, Kayli trailed behind her husband, waving at everyone before turning the corner out of everyone’s sight. “Pete, what’s wrong with you? Just say you’re sorry, that’s all they want.” Kayli said as they continued walking down the road. “Why should I apologize when I’m not sorry. Yeah, this whole situation has been hard, but at least we knew we had each other, if no one else.” “Pete this is stupid. I just need to go to bed and you need to talk to Patrick before anyone else. He’s obviously very hurt by you not telling him personally about the baby.” Pete dropped her hand and kept walking keeping a distance from her. She was right and that’s what was making him so mad, but he felt that Patrick’s feelings toward Kayli were a perfect reason to keep everything a secret. In his mission to not hurt anyone’s feelings, he ended up hurting everyone’s feelings… ******************************* When the truth came out Where you the last to know?

June 18, 2007"Papercut" Part Six: Touched by angels, though I fall from grace“Papercut” Part Six: Touched by angels, though I fall out of grace Can I meet you alone? ******************************** Morgan woke the next day, feeling no better then when she went to sleep. The moment she had shared in the back yard with Joe seemed like some kind of crazy dream, she never did those types of things and she wasn’t sure what had come over her, but her crush on Joe had intensified times a thousand, she wanted a real man to love her and what was more real than Joe? He had also provided her with the answer she needed to her question and now she was curious as to who this drummer was and what had made him so fleetingly attractive to Destiny. Destiny awoke early the next day, something in her mind was plaguing her, whether it had to do with the look on Patrick’s face when he came home the previous evening, or the look on her daughter’s face when Joe left the previous evening. Either way, she knew the drama her life had been free of for a while was well on its way to coming back into her life. The only other thing she couldn’t get out of her mind was Joe’s joke about having another child, even though the moment probably wasn’t the best, she really felt like maybe they could at least attempt it, or maybe she should just stop taking her pills and let it happen if it was supposed to happen. Joe spent the whole rest of the weekend thinking non-stop about Morgan and what had happened between them. He kept trying to make himself feel bad about it, but he just couldn’t. He didn’t feel any amount of guilt what so ever, forgetting that she was a minor and his best friends daughter, he just knew that in his heart he loved her in a way most people would find horribly inappropriate. Ultimately, Joe knew that whatever was going to happen with Morgan was going to be temporary at best, there was no way he could ever bring himself to letting Patrick know about it, or anyone else for that matter. He began to think about all of the things they wouldn’t be able to do if he was even going to pretend to be in any sort of relationship with her, going out in public was a big no, sleeping with her was so wrong, but somehow he didn’t feel like he was going to regret it…Joe was torn in the worst way between what was right and what he knew his heart felt. Patrick was dreading going to the studio, after the thoughts he had yesterday and the way he completely fought of Destiny’s advances last night, he was feeling really bad about what he felt he was going to be his family through. He was going to try hard to fight against Katy today, but he wasn’t going to promise anything, he was dying for some kind of touch, something different than the daily grind he had to be forced to live. Once he got to the studio, Katy was already there, talking to one of the writers, working on fixing some lyrics that she didn’t like. Patrick took a deep breath when he saw her, she was taking advantage of the attention he gave her yesterday, her shirt was tighter, her jeans were tighter and she just looked altogether sexier than she did yesterday. Maybe it was her, or maybe it was him, but she did look different. Nervous for the first time ever in front of her, Patrick gently sat down behind her. She turned and smiled at him broadly. “Hey there, how’s it going?” she asked him. Patrick smiled weakly, hating himself at the moment, what was going through his mind was not right, nor was it okay. The writer excused himself, leaving Patrick and Katy alone, something Patrick was dreading terribly. “You look like you’re about to throw up,” Katy said suddenly. Patrick shifted his gaze from the panel to her stunning eyes, and nodded slowly. “I just might, I’m not myself today,” he replied. Katy smiled sympathetically, knowing all along that yesterday had a profound impact on him. She stood and walked behind him, gently placing her hands on his shoulders, beginning to rub them calmly. Patrick’s head screamed in alarm, this was stepping over the line as far as he was concerned, but somehow he couldn’t bring himself to make her stop, it did feel pretty nice. After a minute of just enjoying the feeling, he pulled his chair forward out of Katy’s reach. “Let’s just get to work, okay?” he said suddenly, feeling his face turn red. Katy smiled slyly, but nodded, making her way to the recording booth… Morgan got home from school and immediately ran to her room to call Joe. The entire day to her had been a complete blur and she didn’t know what to do with herself, she wanted to tell her friends so badly what she did and who with, they all had crushes on him, but she knew that Joe could get in big trouble if anyone found out, but keeping it a complete secret was so hard. As the phone rang, Morgan tried to think of something to say, but nothing was coming to her, it was impossible now, everything was different. Joe looked at his cell phone and sighed deeply, he knew this was going to happen. A young teenage girl falls in love at the first sign of affection, she had already decided that she loved him previously, he figured and after last night he just furthered her crush, and he wasn’t sure if he should continue the game, as much as he wanted to, or forget it altogether. But he couldn’t forget it, he just didn’t want to. “Hey you,” he said softly, watching his son sleep on the couch. It was weird, feeling this way about something you know that you can’t have, it was strange and Joe wasn’t sure how to approach it, how to approach Morgan without breaking her heart. “I…” Morgan began. She had never had to talk about her feelings like this with a guy before, she wasn’t sure if she was being silly, or if she was just being honest and open, “I’ve been thinking about you all day, but I haven’t told anyone.” Joe was glad she was aware of the repercussions of their actions and was being smart about talking to anyone about it, but he wished that it didn’t have to be this hard. “I’ve been thinking about you too, sweetheart. I’m not really sure how to handle all of this,” he said honestly, his eyes still on his son. It was strange to think that his son was closer in age to Morgan than he was. “Unc…Joe? How can I see you? I mean, be alone with you? Because I just don’t think we can carry on in my backyard much longer, Mom and Dad are bound to catch on.” “Yeah, I’ve trying to think of a way to be alone with you, I’ll come up with something. Does your mom ever go out? Is she sometimes not there when you get home from school?” “No, she’s usually there to make sure Connor does his homework, because he has poor study habits, so he has to be watched.” “Oh…could I ever pick you up from school or something? Bring you back here? I mean…I don’t want to force you to do anything…” Joe treaded back, suddenly hearing himself speak, realizing that he was actually sounding desperate to a teenager. “Yeah, I’d like that, actually. You know my birthday is in a week,” she said. “I know, I already have your present picked out.” “Really? What is it?” “I cant tell you that, but you’ll get it soon. Listen, I have to go take James back to his Mom, but I’ll talk to you later?” “Okay, bye Joe.” “Bye, baby girl.” Joe hung up the phone quickly, feeling his pulse race. Morgan’s sweet voice just sent him over the moon, he sort of felt bad that he was going to be that one guy who takes everything away from her and scars her for the rest of her life, but he had always been a live in the moment guy, he hadn’t changed and he wasn’t going to start now. Morgan was what he was thinking about and she was what brought a smile to his face, there was no reason to push that away… The week passed and Morgan’s fifteenth birthday arrived. Patrick had promised her years ago that her sweet sixteen was going to be huge, so she decided to just have a few friends sleep over and open some presents. After cake was eaten, presents were open and everyone was asleep, Morgan was lying on her living room floor listening to her friends snore, thinking about the lack of present from Joe. It was still her birthday for another hour and all she wanted was to feel his arms around her and to hear him whisper in her ear. Her phone began to vibrate suddenly beside her and she picked it up quickly, grinning broadly at Joe’s name on the caller ID. “Come outside,” Joe said before he hung up. Morgan quickly ran to the front door and slid on some flip flops before exiting the house quietly. She stood in the front yard and saw Joe’s car parked across the street. She ran to it as he opened the passenger door for her. “Get in.” “Where are we going?” she said, her heart racing. She had never snuck out of the house before, much less with an older man who would get his ass beat hard if someone found out about it. “Back to my place, I’ll bring you back, don’t worry,” he said. The last thing he wanted or needed was this secret to get out. He didn’t want to exactly explain to Patrick why he had taken his daughter out passed midnight anyway. Once inside Joe’s house, Morgan sat awkwardly on his couch, feeling entirely intimidated by the silence and the fact that they were totally and completely alone. Joe came back from the kitchen with a large bouquet of pink roses, causing Morgan to gasp. “Joe, they’re beautiful!” she said reaching forward and grabbing them from him. No one had ever bought her flowers before, much less a huge bouquet of her favorite roses. “I vaguely remembered you telling me that you loved pink roses, and they were just so beautiful like you, I had to get them,” he explained. Morgan stopped smelling them at his comment and looked up into his blue eyes. She had never had feelings like this before, she wasn’t sure how to cope with them or how to deal with them knowing what her and Joe were doing was so very wrong. “How can we continue to do this? I’m scared,” she said honestly. Joe reached forward and pulled her to him, kissing the top of her head. “I would be lying if I told you I wasn’t scared too. I could get into some serious trouble if anyone found out about us, but I’m willing to put it all on the line to be with you. I know you’re young, but I’ve known for a very long time that you were something special and different to me.” Morgan back off slightly and looked up at him before smiling. Joe leaned down and kissed her gently, placing her hand on the side of her face. Morgan stayed locked in her position for a minute, liking the feeling of his facial hair tickling her soft skin while his lips and tongue entwined with hers. “Do you want your present?” he asked her quietly. Catching her breath quickly, Morgan nodded and then yelped as Joe scooped her up under her legs and began carrying her up the stairs. Morgan couldn’t help but laugh at what he was doing, she felt like she was in some cheesy romantic comedy. Joe gently placed her on her feet at the top of the stairs and held her hand, leading her into his bedroom. Suddenly she felt the air around her become very thick, she was finding it hard to breath. Did he really think this was what she wanted on her fifteenth birthday? “Joe…I don’t want to do this,” she said. He turned around and looked at her with a confused look on his face. “Do what? Morgan, come on, I thought you’d know me better than that. That’s not what I’m after and that’s not why you’re here,” he said. Morgan smiled carefully, still not fully sure if she was comfortable at the moment. Joe approached her slowly, holding a small box. “I just wanted to give you this, but I wanted it to be a sort of special moment between us. So here,” he said taking her hand and placing the box on her open palm, “open it.” Morgan stared at the black velvet box for a minute, knowing immediately that it was a ring, but wondering what type of ring. She carefully sat her roses down on his bed and let the box creak open. Inside was a silver Irish wedding band, the kind with two hands holding one heart. She felt herself tear up, but choked them back, trying to act grown up in front of Joe. “It feels nice to finally give my heart to someone again, someone who I know will treat it gently,” he said. Morgan nodded and pulled the ring out of the box, slipping it on her index finger on her left hand. “I love it, it’s the sweetest gift ever,” she replied softly. Her soul and heart were so full of this strange feeling, she couldn’t sort out what it was, but she felt light headed, her stomach felt queasy and her heart felt satisfied. “I love you,” she blurted out, starring him square in the eyes. Joe nodded and grabbed her hand again, pulling her to the bed. He laid down and Morgan laid down in front of him, locking herself into his embrace, breathing deeply, fighting off the sleep that was begging at her eyelids… ************************************* A stain that never comes off the sheets

June 15, 2007"Need" part Eleven: Just to have one drop of you“Need” Part Eleven: Just to have one drop of you You are the earth beneath my feet You are the fire in my heart and most of all ************************************* The last day of the tour had finally arrived and everyone was ready for their two week break to go back home, sleep a lot and live normally if only for a little while. Kayli and Pete had managed to live as a married couple without anyone saying anything to them about their weird behavior. Much to Kayli’s dismay, Patrick had almost stopped speaking to her all together, she sensed a sort of betrayal of trust between them, and she could’ve kicked herself for thinking it was okay to tell him, but she really had no where else to turn. After running around all day, trying to fight the temptation to half ass do her job, she was up on a ladder, hanging some wire when she felt her stomach back flip as it had been for nearly two months now. Halting all of her movement, her left hand rushed to her mouth, her other hand clenching her stomach that was in many painful knots. “Kayli? You okay?” She heard a voice from down on the ground. She looked down to see Dirty staring at her in concern. She shook her head and began a careful decent down the ladder, still holding onto her stomach. Dirty sat down his drink and walked over to the ladder, helping Kayli down before taking her over to the nearest trash can. She bent over and let herself throw up, hoping against all things that Dirty wouldn’t conclude correctly what was happening to her. “You okay? Catch a bug or something?” Dirty asked her. Kayli took a few deep breaths and shrugged, wiping her mouth, trying to avoid Dirty’s gaze, feeling like he would be able to read her mind. He watched her for a minute, before noticing the chain around her neck, which had a ring hanging from it that looked almost identical to Pete’s new one. “That’s weird, Pete has that exact some ring around his neck…” he said to her. Kayli stopped moving and stared at the ground below her, trying hard to make the room stop spinning while trying to think of a response to his observation. “Really? I didn’t notice,” she said softly, trying to pull away from him, only to look up and see Charlie approaching. Kayli suddenly felt trapped, Patrick must’ve told…or maybe these guys really weren’t as dumb as they look. “Do you need me to go get something for you? Tylenol, Pepto…First Response?” Charlie asked, causing Kayli to choke, sending her into a coughing fit. “What….what do you mean?” She asked after she got her breath, trying to sound as clueless as possible, knowing that she was found out. “Chill, girl, I’m just kidding,” he said, smiling, “unless…do I?” Kayli smiled quickly and laughed. “No…I probably just ate something gross, thanks though, I think I’m going to go lie down.” Dirty and Charlie nodded, watching her go. “Feel better!” Dirty yelled after her, before turning around to see Pete approaching. “Hey, what’s her problem?” he asked the guys as Kayli disappeared out of sight. “She just threw up, she thinks she ate something funny, no biggie.” “Oh, hope she’s okay,” he said, absentmindedly… Kayli booked it to the bus, feeling her stomach churn once more. As she ran on the bus, she bumped into Patrick and Andy who were currently heading out to the venue. “Whoa, are you…?” Patrick began as she blew passed him. Andy gave Patrick a concerned look, but Patrick told him to go on, he would be right there. He followed the sound of Kayli retching and turned the corner to see her bent over the toilet in the small bathroom. “What’s going on?” He asked her softly, leaning down to hold her hair and rub her back. Kayli took a deep breath and sat back on her legs as Patrick handed her a tissue, which she took to wipe her mouth. “Patrick, I think I’m pregnant,” she blurted out. In fact, she didn’t think, she knew. It’s basically a girl’s intuition to just know when she’s pregnant, your body starts acting crazy and the foods you crave just aren’t normal. “How long has this been going on?” he asked. She stood off the floor and walked to the small kitchen for water, rinsing out her mouth. “I haven’t had a period in, god knows how long, puking nearly everyday and I’ve just been having this awful craving for peanut butter and buttered noodles, I guess it’s a good thing Pete likes peanut butter,” she joked, but Patrick wasn’t laughing. “Don’t joke, this is a big deal, are you going to tell him?” Kayli stepped back and looked at him, a little pissed that he was being so judgmental. “Are you going to tell him that you know?” she retorted. “He’s not ready for me to know, I can tell, he’s not ready for anyone to know, that’s why this baby thing is going to be major, he’s going to burst and its not going to be the right time for the news to come out,” he said. “Patrick, you don’t know a thing about what we are and are not ready for, so don’t try and make me feel guilty for being pregnant. I’m married and stable, there’s nothing for me to feel guilty about and besides, I know Pete needs a break and by the time I’m ready to give birth, it will be perfect timing for a break,” she said, before turning around and leaving the bus. Patrick stared after her, not expecting her to take his words so offensively, he was only trying to help, why he wasn’t sure. The feelings he had for her were still very much there and it hurt even more now to know that a family for Pete was imminent, when he was the one who had been pining for such a thing for so long and it was he who was so far off from the goal. If things with the band hadn’t been tense enough, Patrick had just heard news about something that could make it all worse… Since the tour ended, the boys were gearing up for some European shows. Pete had taken his shots at the doctor and made Kayli an appointment while he was there, only to get a phone call about the appointment never being fulfilled. Curious as to why she missed it, he asked her to come over and visit late one night. Kayli sat on the edge of Pete’s bed, feeling entirely melancholy, today was the perfect time to tell him her news, but her emotions had gone into such a tail spin, she felt one negative look from him was going to send her into hysterics. Pete came into the bedroom with some water and sat behind her rubbing her back, a gesture that was more than welcome to Kayli’s increasingly aching body. “So, you never went to that doctor’s appointment I made you. I know you’re scared of needles, but they’re necessary to travel,” he said. Kayli closed her eyes, trying to enjoy the backrub. “I know, I’m sorry, I made an appointment somewhere else and totally forgot.” “Oh…why?” Pete stopped rubbing. Kayli sighed and brought her legs up to the bed and sat cross leg facing him. “Pete…I love you,” she said. “I love you too, what’s going on?” Kayli reached forward and grabbed his hands, looking him in the eyes, trying to ease whatever irrational fears were floating through his mind. “I’m pregnant, three months now. I wanted to tell you sooner, but I wasn’t sure if it was the best time, I only found out for sure last week.” “Wha…you…seriously?” he asked, causing Kayli to laugh, relieved. “Yeah, and next month we can find out the sex and everything…so you’re happy?” she asked. “Of course! Why wouldn’t I be?” he said, leaning forward and kissing her deeply, “just…people still don’t know about us, for some reason.” Kayli pulled away feeling a little guilty, Patrick still hadn’t told him. “Well, one person knows and that’s my fault, it was the night of our wedding and I just needed to tell someone.” Pete sat back, confused. “Who could you…,” he began before his face fell, “Patrick.” Kayli nodded, a little worried about the look on his face. “Why did you do that? He told me a few weeks ago that he thought he liked you and that you felt the same, he was the last person I wanted to find out about us!” “I’m sorry, Pete! How was I supposed to know how he felt about me if he never said anything? And besides what’s the point? You’re my husband, he’s a little too late for that.” “I know, but he told other people about that, now they’re going to think I did this to spite him, especially with how rocky our friendship is right now in general.” “Well, what are we going to do? I can’t go to Europe, because some of those shots aren’t healthy for the baby, I’m sorry, I have to stay here,” Kayli replied, standing up. Pete followed her, not sure what to do either. “I don’t know what to do, baby. I have to think about this. I mean, you can get out of the tour easily, but I don’t know what to say about us, its all really complicated now. Stay the night and we’ll think about it in the morning?” Kayli nodded, reaching down to rub her belly softly, she climbed into the bed, relieved to be laying down. Pete lay down beside her, pulling the covers down her body past her stomach, lifting up her shirt and laying his left hand over her growing tummy. Smiling, Pete leaned forward and kissed her and his baby, feeling a strange mixture of love and fear, assuming that’s what it was like to be a first time father. “Am I really this lucky?” he asked softly, to no one in particular… ************************** If you ever start to wonder what you mean to me You’re like water to me

June 14, 2007"Papercut" Part Five: This something I have for you...“Papercut” Part Five: This something I have for you… Age ain’t nothing but a number Throwing down ain’t nothing but a thing ****************************** Morgan was even more determined to get the bottom of the problem that happened between Patrick and Destiny when they first started dating, after reading some stories about Pete’s ability to cause drama and the drop of a hat. Joe was coming over tonight and her main goal was to shove his son off on Connor and get stoned with him, enough that he’ll talk about anything with her. Patrick returned home, feeling guilty, but for what he didn’t know. Maybe it was because after Katy’s much unwanted confession, he began entertaining the thoughts he had been repressing for so long: laying Katy out on the mixing board naked, giving her the best fuck of her life, hearing her talk dirty to him, he shook the thoughts away and opened the front door to his home, seeing his daughter sitting at the kitchen counter and his wife making dinner. His face turned red, he really thought they had to have heard what was going on in his mind. “Hi, Daddy. Uncle Joe is going to be here in an hour with James,” Morgan informed him and he merely nodded in response, he didn’t want to open his mouth for fear he would say something stupid. He walked up the stairs and into his bedroom, relieved to be away from the eyes of his wife and kids. He quickly walked to the bathroom to splash some water on his face. “What is wrong with you? You’ve been married fourteen years, you know better then to be thinking like this about another woman,” he thought to himself, but he just couldn’t help it. Katy was young and beautiful and had basically just informed him that she had been lusting after him practically her whole life. Deciding to not think about it anymore, he got in the shower, trying to wash away the guilt he felt deep in his heart. The minute Patrick walked through the door, destiny sensed something was terribly wrong with him, she could see it in her eyes and she noticed Morgan looked at him funny too. “What’s wrong with Dad?” she suddenly asked, as if reading Destiny’s mind. Nervous about what exactly was wrong with him, she still wanted to ease Morgan’s mind. “I don’t know, he probably just had a long day. You know that girl he’s producing really stresses him out anyway, so it’s probably just that,” she replied. Morgan raised her eyebrow and her mom’s double speak. “You don’t sound so sure,” she noted. Destiny stared at Morgan for a moment before deciding to ignore her statement… Three hours later, dinner had been eaten, Morgan went to attend to a phone call and Connor had taken James into the den to play with him, Destiny sighed at the sound of a million Legos being dumped out on the ground, causing Joe to laugh. “I think Connor needs a little brother,” he said, laughing as Destiny choked on her wine. “I’ll kill you, Joe Trohman,” she replied. Patrick laughed, but rolled his eyes. “We’d actually have to have sex in order for us to get pregnant again, so…don’t bank on it,” he said. Destiny reached over a smacked Patrick on the arm, letting out a gasp at his statement. “Now I think I’m going to want to have sex just to spite you.” Joe laughed at their usual back handed bickering, amusing himself about how glad he was he got divorced. Morgan came back a minute later, forcing the grown ups to stop their chatter. Morgan breezed past the three of them and headed into the kitchen. Joe cleared his thought and excused himself to the bathroom, hearing Destiny and Patrick began low volume arguing behind him. Joe smiled as he saw Morgan with her head in the fridge. He walked up behind her and squeezed her side, causing her to jump, whirling around to see who scared her. “Holy shit! Fuck, you scared the crap out of me!” She yelled as Joe grinned. “Hey, hey, watch the language, kiddo. I’m still to be respected as an elder,” he said. Morgan rolled her eyes and laughed. “Did you bring some weed?” she asked suddenly. Joe sighed and reached in his pocket, pulling out a baggie with loose leaves and a few rolled up joints inside. “Like I’d ever come visit my favorite girl without some?” Morgan grinned and reached forward, yanking the baggie out of his hands, pulling him along with her out to the backyard. They both walked forward, heading to the gazebo behind the pool where they always sat, hidden away just barely from view of people in the house. Joe sat back and lit up a joint, inhaling and then passing it on to Morgan. They sat for a few minutes, just enjoying their high, when Morgan spoke, “So, I was talking to Dad this morning and he told me that him and Mom went through some stuff when they were first dating and I’ve been dying all day to find out what it is.” Joe laughed, thinking back to the conversation he and Patrick had a few days ago on the very same subject. “Uh, I don’t think your parents would like me to tell you that, you’d probably just hate your mother even more,” he said. Morgan exhaled and let her eyes widen, now twenty times more curious to find out what happened. “Uncle Joe, please, just tell me, I’m dying to know!” Morgan begged. “Why are you dying to know?” he asked, leaning back in his chair taking another hit from the joint between his fingers. “Because, I don’t know. I just want to know, I want to know who my parents used to be when they were younger, when they were still in love. I’m just curious, please?” she asked, jutting her bottom lip out. Joe smiled and passed her the joint, she looked so cute. “Okay, but if I tell you, what will you give me for it?” He asked. Somewhere, deep inside of him, he felt something for Morgan that he would never, ever admit to anybody. He wanted her to be four years older, but the more he spent time with her, the older she was becoming and he wanted it to be true and he knew he was in no position to fight the feelings. Morgan took a long hit before stubbing it out in the ashtray, turning around to make sure her parents weren’t looking out at them in the yard. “Remember when you asked me whether or not I actually do go down on anyone who asks?” Joe gulped to himself, he knew where this was heading, and he nodded. “Well, I kind of do, I can’t help that I like it…” Joe jumped slightly when he felt Morgan place her hand on his thigh. “Well, what are you trying to say?” He said, keeping his cool. She stood up out of her chair and perched herself on his knee, leaning in and whispering, “I’ll give you the best blow job you’ve ever had, just for a little bit of information…” she smiled as she felt movement in Joe’s pants, letting her hand run down his chest and to his belt. “You’re mom fucked our drummer while she was with Patrick. That’s the big secret,” he said, quickly, now in near pain from the restriction in his jeans. Still smiling Morgan leaned forward and did something she had been dreaming of since she started to like boys, and placed her lips carefully on Joe’s, all of the feelings she had rushing to her panties. She lied to Joe when she told him she gave a lot of blow jobs, she had never actually given one before, but she had seen it done and figured it couldn’t be that hard to do. With shaking breath and hands, Morgan carefully got to her knees in front of Joe. Feeling seriously sick minded, Joe closed his eyes and tilted his head back, trying very hard not to think about the fact that not only was Morgan barely a teenager, but also the fact that her father happened to be one of his best friends. Feeling slightly embarrassed, Morgan decided to keep her eyes closed as well, not wanting to look at Joe’s face carefully reached forward, pulling his belt away and fumbling with the button and zipper. Finally she reached her right hand up and wrapped her fingers around his penis, feeling a little intimidated at the size, but took a deep breath and leaned forward, wrapping her lips around the head. Joe tried hard not to yell out in complete satisfaction, it had been a long time since he had had sex, let alone had a beautiful girl go down on him. He couldn’t help it, his mind was now thoroughly focused on nothing but the fact that his feelings were strong toward Morgan. Forgetting Patrick and Destiny and the legality of the situation, he let his hand rest on the back of Morgan’s head, entangling his fingers in her dirty blonde hair, moaning softly while still keeping an eye on the house to ensure that they wouldn’t be caught. Morgan felt herself grin a little at the satisfied moans coming from Joe’s mouth, glad that she was doing a good job, all she wanted was to please him. Morgan continued her job for several more minutes, before Joe muttered something about coming. Bracing herself for the worst, she continued the pleasure before feeling him climax in her mouth. Morgan gagged at the taste and feel of it in her mouth, turning her head away quickly. Joe relaxed himself in the chair, pulling his hand away from Morgan’s hair, watching her wipe her mouth and shyly sit back down beside him. Words were suddenly hard to come by with the pair, neither of them believing what just occurred. “You’re not going to tell anyone about this, are you?” He asked quietly, leaning close to her face. Morgan shook her head, scared to look at Joe, assuming he was now thinking less of her, but Joe reached his hand out and placed his palm on her cheek, turning her head to look at him. “It’s okay, Morgan. I’m not going to tell either, and…I really enjoyed it,” he said softly before kissing her gently. Morgan didn’t want their kiss to end, she couldn’t believe all of the things running through her mind at the moment, so many conflicting feelings. Finally Joe pulled back, brushing her hair out of her face. “Uncle Joe?” she asked, not sure what the right thing was to say, he nodded. “…I love you.” Joe smiled at kissed her again softly. “I know, baby girl. I love you too…” ******************** I don’t mean to be bold But I got to let you know I got a thing for you And I can’t let go AN: i feel sort of bad about writing this, so i hope you guys like where this is heading...

June 13, 2007"Need" Part Ten: You're already the voice inside my head“Need” Part 10 - You’re already the voice inside my head And in the night we’ll wish this never ends Wish the never ends ********************************* Kayli sighed as she watched Pete’s cab disappear, these past few months had been so hard on them and completely tested their every will, she was honestly surprised when Pete told her last night that he still wanted to get married, she wasn’t even sure they were working out anymore, but she knew she loved Pete intensely, and that was enough for her. She turned her back on her new husband, walking alone to the other bus that she was living in along with Patrick and Andy and a few of the mellow crew members. She was a little mad that it had to be this way, their ceremony went too fast and all she wanted was to spend the first night of the rest of her life by her husband’s side. Suddenly feeling more abandoned then she would’ve liked, Kayli sought refuge in another place. Sighing heavily, she took the silver band off of her finger and also placed it delicately around her neck. Clinging to it, she gently pulled back the curtains on Patrick’s bunk. He put his hand to his eyes and rubbed them, slowly opening them to see Kayli’s troubled eyes looking back. “Hey,” he said groggily, “what’s going on?” Kayli gestured if she could come in, to which Patrick nodded. Gratefully, Kayli hopped up into the bunk, getting herself comfortable on his chest. She sighed heavily once again, causing Patrick to squeeze her shoulder. “What to talk about it?” Patrick asked, causing Kayli to shrug, unsure if she should share her secret with him. It wasn’t that she didn’t trust Patrick, because out of everyone on the whole tour, she knew that she could trust him the most. “What I’m about to tell you, no one knows except my mother and one other person and you have to make me believe that you won’t tell a soul, and I mean it,” she said, sitting up on her elbows on her stomach, looking at Patrick. He turned his head to her and nodded slowly, wondering what the big secret was. Kayli reached into her t-shirt and pulled out the chain around her neck and the silver band glinted softly in the dim light. “Pete and I…we just got married,” she said, her tone soft. Patrick felt his eyes widen unexpectedly. “You just…what…?…I didn’t even know you guys talked to each other,” he said finally. Kayli blushed and nodded her head. “I know, we are good at the secret, huh?” “How has this been working? I’ve never even seen you guys talk, let alone expect that you’ve married each other.” “We’ve actually been dating since January, crazy I know.” “Wow…is eight months really enough time to know whether or not you want to spend your life with someone?” “Patrick, you of all people should know that when you find that person, you just know,” she said, referring to his only girlfriend that he refused to let go of, in hopes that everything would turn out the way he had always planned and dreamed. He nodded slowly, before staring at the ring hanging from Kayli’s neck. “You know, it doesn’t seem very Pete-like to just get married. I‘ve never really known him to be that good at permanent commitment.” “Yeah, I was surprised too, but he asked me to marry him and I said yes, despite all of my reservations about marrying some rock star whom I kind of work for. But now…I mean, we JUST got married about an hour ago, why am I alone?” she asked rhetorically. Patrick reached up and rubbed her arm, thinking hard to himself. Now he really felt like the only person in the world who didn’t have anyone. He truly was alone for the rest of his life, it seemed. He was more tortured by the fact that he and Kayli had become really close within the past few weeks and he was hoping it would go further, but once again, Pete had the upper hand. It almost felt as though he was beginning to do it all on purpose. “I have to admit, this news is a little disappointing. I mean, you were one of the few girls on our crew and totally available and now it’s almost like I wont even be able to talk to you without Pete glaring over my shoulder at all of my actions toward you.” “Don’t even tell me you were starting to crush on me! Patrick…” Kayli replied, groaning. She watched his face turn a light shade of pink at her revelation. “I’m sorry. It’s just…you’ve been one of the few girls I’ve been talking to, it was just one of those random things you sort of hope may happen sometime, eventually, possibly…forget it,” he replied, pulling the sheets up over his head. Kayli felt bad for a moment, but even knowing that other guys in her life found her appealing, she was married now, and she wouldn’t change that for the world. “I’m sorry, but I do understand what you mean. It seems pretty unfair of him to keep you shadowed like this…so that whole Ashlee Simpson thing?” “Totally fraud. Smoke and mirrors, Pete’s favorite.” “Wow…so what now? Are you going to move in together? How do you guys plan continuing to live like this?” Kayli merely shrugged in response. Honestly, she wasn’t sure how it was possible that they could continue to hide their relationship from the world, it seemed likely to her that someone was bound to find out that Pete had filed for a marriage license and that questions were going to come up. Suddenly, she had to talk to Pete. Leaning over and giving Patrick a kiss on the cheek, she stood to leave. “Thanks so much for letting me get this off my mind, it’s a huge relief to finally tell someone. You’re the best.” Patrick nodded and then rolled his eyes, annoyed that he was always the brother type to everyone. Kayli sat jiggling her leg nervously as the phone rang, feeling the bus gliding down the highway beneath her, heading to their next location. “Hi,” the voice answered softly. “Pete…I miss you.” She heard him sigh sadly on the other end. “I miss you too,” he replied, Kayli noting the slight slur in his words. She was almost dead tired of him abusing his medications, causing him to numb his pain, instead of facing it like he ought to, especially when it came to dealing with her. “I wish I was with you right now, I’m so alone,” he continued, his voice sounding like he was about to fall asleep, “I don’t know what to do, why am I doing this to myself? I just got married and now I’m fucking alone. Baby, I need you here right now, I can’t do this anymore.” “Pete, please, it’s okay, I’ll see you in morning and in a few weeks we can start our life together.” “It’s not soon enough, I can’t stop thinking about you and what I’m putting you through, it isn’t fair to either of us. I want to quit right now, I just want to be with you.” “No, come on, you’ll feel much better in the morning, I promise. Just go to sleep and dream of me, okay? I love you so much.” Pete sighed loudly. “Okay, love you.” Kayli quickly hung up the phone. It was almost annoying to her that she was dealing with Pete acting like a child, she wanted the man she fell in love with, not this pod person that took over when he felt down and alone… Bright and early the next day, Kayli was working hard on getting all of the electrical equipment hooked up and running, going about her day as normal. Patrick arrived early in the afternoon and watched as Kayli and one of her coworkers finalized their work for the day. He couldn’t sleep last night, Kayli’s confession was weighing on him heavily. How had he not known? It was almost completely obvious now that he knew, Pete and Kayli were both terrible liars. He noticed almost immediately the looks they gave each other and the matching rings around both of their necks was basically a dead giveaway that something was going on, but no one else seemed to notice, or if they did, they hadn’t said anything. Pete sat in his dressing room staring at the wall ahead of him, Kayli had yet to even give him the time of day, their first day as a married couple and they hadn’t even so much as locked eyes. He wanted to cry and scream to anyone how he was tearing up inside, how he could feel so alone with his wife so close by and all of his friends within arms reach? He wanted to just run to a microphone and tell everyone to stop what they were doing and yell at the top of his lungs that he was married and in love! …but he couldn’t do that to Kayli, what the fans would say, she didn’t deserve that. So, instead, he choose to sit and pine, think and write, it was the only way he knew how to cope, even though deep down he knew there was a better option. While the opening acts played their set, Kayli searched around for any kind of opening, and kind of hiding place for her Pete to be alone without eyes watching. She had noticed Patrick looking at her all day and now she regretting her decision to confide in him, he was making her feel as though he wasn’t all she had thought he was, she always considered him a better make and model of the male species, but it was looking more like he was the same as all of the others. After searching for over an hour, she was able to find a somewhat hidden location, and once she found Pete, he looked more than relieved to see her. She drug him backwards, away from any eyes and all people into the tiny space that they could call theirs for the next few minutes. He wrapped his arms around her and held her as tight as possible, pressing her back up against the wall and his lips firmly against hers. It felt good and right to be with each other once again, after nearly a whole day of not seeing one another. Pete felt strong and safe for the first time all day, he wanted to stay with her, but he knew their time was precious. With that in mind, Pete wasting no time, placing his kisses on her readily exposed skin, sighing gratefully as Kayli roughly tugged his belt open and pulled his pants down as Pete did the same for her, then Kayli carefully hiked herself up slightly on the table behind her. Reaching down and tossing his shirt off, before pulling hers away, Kayli was able to get that deep skin on skin contact that she had been longing for since the previous evening. Just as quickly as she had gotten their clothes off, Pete entered her with enough force that the table she was sitting on jumped backward slightly, causing Kayli to yell out softly before resting her head on his shoulder, letting him pull her closer both of them feeling all of their tensions course through and out of their bodies in a powerful orgasm. “Pete! We need you for the meet and greet…where are you?!” Charlie’s voice came muffled underneath the door. Sighing sadly, Pete reached down pulling his pants up, and then kissed Kayli gently from her neck to her lips, watching with a smile as she slowly got dressed. Pete leaned forward and rested his forehead on hers “Duty calls,” he said softly, kissing her lips once more. “I know. Can we see each other later?” she asked, hoping to be able to sleep soundly in his arms, she just wanted one night to be able to sleep comfortably in her husband’s embrace. “I hope so…” “PETE! Where are you? We have to hurry!” Charlie’s voice once again called. Kayli hopped down off the table, taking Pete’s hand in hers before pulling his face to hers once more. “I love you, Peter.” “PETE!” “I have to go…” he replied sadly, holding onto her hand until he couldn’t anymore, looking at her one last time before walking out into reality… ****************************** This sick strange darkness AN: you know the drill, constructive reviews please and thank you.

June 10, 2007Papercut Part 4- Cause I can't turn to you when it all falls apartPapercut part 4 – Cause I can’t turn to you when it all falls apart I need intervention Morgan went to her room, telling Patrick that she was going to do homework. Patrick knew that she was lying, but he let it go, he was too tired to fight with her, given he had been fighting with Destiny all day. He was anxious for Joe to come over with his son, anything to distract him from the work he hated and the life he was tired of living. He suddenly felt like maybe he had lied to Morgan earlier in the day, maybe he actually didn’t love Destiny as much as he did years ago. He could remember loving her more when Morgan was born, but when Connor came three years later, something happened to the pair of them. He considered it a possible reason why he was never able to bring himself to get to know his son. Morgan went in her bottom desk drawer and pulled out the box, grabbed her laptop and walked to Connor’s room. He jumped when his door flew open, turning his music down. “Mo! Get out of my room!” He yelled. “Shut up, loser. Listen to me,” she replied, sitting down at his desk. He grumbled and shut off his stereo, knowing that when Morgan got started, he had no hope of getting her out. She shoved a large stack of magazines at him and merely said, “Read.” Connor stared at them, noticing every cover was graced by a younger version of his father. “Why am I doing this?” he asked, causing Morgan to sigh. “Aren’t you tired of Mom and Dad fighting all the time? Aren’t you the least bit curious about how we came to be and why we don’t know those other two guys?” She asked him, pointing to Andy and Pete. Connor sat on his bed and began flipping through the top one. “No. Their fighting doesn’t bother me. Dad hates me anyway, so I don’t care and these other guys must not be important so that’s why we don’t know them.” “Do you realize Dad and this Pete guy were best friends for over fifteen years and then suddenly they hate each other? Something happened and I want to know what. Dad also said to me this morning that he and mom went through some stuff when they first started dating, I want to know what it was. I want our family to be happy again. We can’t fix it until we know where it came from,” she said, matter-of-factly, opening a copy of Rolling Stone. She stared at the cover for a minute, noticing that Pete was pretty attractive, then trying to understand that band dynamics. “So, this Pete guy was the popular one and Dad was second. Uncle Joe and this Andy guy seem like they must’ve been kind of invisible at times.” Morgan suddenly felt for Joe, realizing now why he seemed so relieved when he talked about Fall Out Boy breaking up in the end, it must’ve been hard to live in such a fishbowl. Connor rolled his eyes at Morgan’s bland observation. “What am I looking for again?” He asked, opening a copy of Rock Sound. “Something that talks about Dad and Mom, or about the band’s split or the general relationship between Dad and Pete.” She tossed the Rolling Stone to the ground, next picking up a copy of Kerrang! Connor opened the Rock Sound to the article and began reading, and felt his heart sink. The article was describing Patrick’s hopes and dreams that seemed nearly impossible at the top of his game. “Mo, Dad sounds really sad in this one,” he observed, re-reading the paragraphs. Morgan scooted her chair over and grabbed the issue out of his hands, reading the first page. “Wow, Dad really wanted us,” she replied softly, looking over at Connor and then back down at the pages. It was weird to think about them not always being a family, there were so many years that Morgan and Connor weren’t aware of and so many life lessons that they had yet to learn that their parents had already been through. “It must’ve been hard sometimes for Dad and Mom, don’t you think? Imagine sharing someone with the rest of the world like that. Maybe I misjudge Mom…” She quickly looked back down at the Kerrang!, the article being all about Patrick and Pete’s relationship in and out of the studio. Connor reached over to the pile of DVD’s, putting b-sides into his TV and picking the “story” option. The siblings watched for a minute, learning about the formation of Fall Out Boy and more about who their Dad was when he was twenty. “God, Dad was such a dork. What was Mom thinking?” Morgan said, turning her back to the TV and reaching for more magazines. She found a later issue of Rock Sound from nearly a year later, and in this one, Patrick was now explaining about the love in his life, the one who understood the balance between the road and private life, the one he wanted to call wife and mother to his kids, how he felt complete for the first time in a long time. Morgan couldn’t help it as tears formed in the bottom of her eyes, why did everything have to change? Patrick could tell her all he wanted that he loved Destiny as much as he did fifteen years ago, but she couldn’t believe it. The way they constantly fought, how they could never see eye to eye on anything, she found herself now wishing she was a baby again, to start all over, to try and see the problems before they happened… Destiny had a hard time understanding Patrick. He was so forceful about putting anything Fall Out Boy related away, hiding it from his kids for all these years so they wouldn’t ask questions, so he wouldn’t have to rehash all of the pain pete had caused him, all of the time he felt was lost after losing his band. Now, here he was, sitting in the living room watching memories now fourteen years stale – Infinty on High has just been released and they were all on the promotional blitz of their life, Patrick recalled that was when things were as bitter sweet as they could get, the most hectic year of his life until Morgan was born. He came up to the bedroom an hour later to get his laptop, causing Destiny to wonder, “How can you watch that stuff if supposedly upsets you that much?” Destiny asked. “babe, the videos don’t upset me, and I like looking at all of the stuff I thought I’d almost forgotten about. It’s the memories of all the bad that came after all that good that upsets me,” he replied, putting all of his stuff into a bag. “Where are you going?” she asked, now aware he was leaving. “I have to go into the studio today, we are laying down more vocals,” he replied, rolling his eyes. “How much longer are you going to put up with this?” “I’m contracted, so, until the album is done, I’m going to have to suck it up…” Patrick was so glad he couldn’t be seen by the girl in the recording booth who went by the name Katy. She was a twenty two year old, up and coming singer with something to prove. The problem, at least in Patrick’s eyes, was that’s he wasn’t any good. Her talent was minimal at best and Patrick couldn’t believe he even had to put up with it. He was a Grammy winning writer and producer, this was outrageous. “Um, Katy, let’s take a break,” Patrick said into her headphones, “before I strangle you,” he muttered to himself. A minute later, Katy came flouncing into the room Patrick was in. As much as he thought she was a talentless hack, he couldn’t deny that she was drop dead gorgeous. “So, Pattycakes,” she giggled, causing Patrick to roll his eyes, “how’s life?” “It’s been better, it’s been worse, Katy,” he replied. “Trouble with the Mrs?” Katy asked, raising her eyebrows. “If you’ve been married as long as I have, you never get anything but trouble.” Katy made a pouty face before moving to a chair closer to Patrick, leaning over slightly, trying to catch his attention. Patrick pretended not to see Katy’s obvious advances on him at the current time, she had been playing this game with him for a month now, he wasn’t expecting that she would ever have the nerve to take it further. “Well, you know that if you ever need anyone to talk to, I’m here for you. Especially if you need daughter advice, I’m good with kids,” she said. “Thanks, if Morgan ever needs a low cut top, I’ll ask you where I need to buy it,” he replied, turning his back to her. Katy sat back in her chair and grinned at Patrick. This was the first time he had ever acknowledged her actions like that to her face, and it was quite an improvement in her eyes. Katy had been attracted to Patrick ever since she was little. Her sister was five years old than her and she remembered everything about the Fall Out Boy phenomenon, even though it was pretty sick for an eight year old to be horribly in love with a twenty three year old man, she was and a wife and kids wasn’t standing in her way of something she had wanted for more than half of her life. “I don’t know if I ever told you this, Patrick, but I’ve had the worst crush on you since I was eight. Imagine such a thing,” she said, laughing. Patrick halted all movement at this statement. This was definitely news to him, he honestly wasn’t completely sure what to make of such a statement. It actually sounded pretty sick to him. “yeah, my big sister was a Pete girl, I guess that’s why I liked you so much. I was the Patrick to her Pete in many ways.” Patrick stayed still, listening to this confession and trying to make sense of why she was telling him this now and here. “Um…kid, let’s just get this finished and call it a day, okay?” Katy grinned as she watched his face flush wildly, but pushed back her chair and returned to the recording booth… ****************************** Can it be easier?

June 8, 20076/5 wrap upum, im actually at a school computer so I'm going to make this fast: I met FOB, yes i did, i even danced when the news arrived. So, we (bridget and I) got in m&g line at about 6:30. Paul Wall came on stage while we were in line and i danced. Basically i was the only person in the line dancing, but i love me some Paul wall! Bridget: I love you, but you are crazy. anyway, so we are standing there and the wind is blowing off the bay and fucking up my hair, ugh! BS. so anyway, yes. we finally got in there and I'm dancing of course, like, in front of Charlie, I'm pretty sure someone must've laughed at me, but hey, Paul Wall, right? anyway, Charlie is yelling "one item! No pictures! No hugs!" and I'm eye sexing him, cause i can, he eye sexed me back. Charlie = love (sorry, Chris! haha). so i get up to Patrick and hand him my CD cover" P: Hey C:hey! how are you? P: Good, how are you? C: Good. (silence) P:duwohgqiubvsd (I couldn't hear him) C: *shrugs* P: *makes cute face, shrugs back* So, therefore, Callan is a dumbass. I shrugged at the love of my life. I SHRUGGED AT HIM. My boyfriend won't let me live it down either, asshole. Perfect opportunity to lean in and smell Patrick scent and say "I'm sorry, i couldn't hear you." Nope. I shrugged. Anyway, i move down, i say Hi to Andy, and he ignores me *hops off Andy bandwagon*. Now its Joe: J: Hey! C: Hey! How are you? J: I'm good, you? C: Great! (pause) It's so hard to hear! J: *nods* I know, it sucks Let me say, the whole beard thing, it works for him. He's hot. ok, Now Pete: P: Hi Bridget is being drug away while telling Pete thanks for meeting her and her friends out in the rain and: P: Oh, I didn't recognize you 'cause everyone was soaked. *hands her sighed bag, grabs my CD cover* C: Hey, Happy Birthday. P: *reaches out and shakes my hand while looking at me like I have 20 eyes* ...what? C: Happy birthday! P: *blushes, laughs* Oh, thank you. C: Welcome. Bye. So yeah, i run away and tell Bridget what Pete said, cause she was rudely drug away in the middle of talking to him. So we loop back and Paul Wall is still performing and I'm still dancing. We finally get back in the area where the guys are and they are standing in a group, getting pictures taken and I'm still dancing. Then bridget leans in a goes "Get Patrick." Like, duh. So this girl goes in front of me and I'm like "nooooooo!" but she went to Pete so I slid into home aside of Patrick and went "Hey!" and he said "Hey!" and proceedes to put his arm around me, so i put my arm around him, and Bridget slides in on the other side and he put his arm around her. I'm pretty sure my hair looked a wreck, and I'm smiling like and asshole in the picture, but, Patrick is soft and squishy and what was I supposed to do? Then we left and got some merch, (Hemmy shirt for me!) and i bought Matt and shirt for finding me another way to get to the bus and then we got out seats and saw on awesome show. mark hoppus threw Petes bass in the bay, dirty jumped in the bay, then Pete jumped in the bay. And we all sang happy bday. Patrick and a keyboard = gorgeous. I wet myself.
